Boldy James & Rome Streetz Release New Collab Project Manhunt

We're entering that zone again — the one where the endlessly prolific Detroit underground rapper Boldy James releases a new album before you've had anywhere near enough time to process the last one. Just two weeks ago, Boldy teamed up with New York fixture Ransom and producer Nicolas Craven on the collaborative project Salvation For The Wicked. Now, Boldy's got a new record with Rome Streetz, a Queens rapper who I always get mixed up with Ransom.

Boldy James and Rome Streetz' new project Manhunt is the rare Boldy record that doesn't have one single producer. (Regular Boldy collaborators like Nicolas Craven and Chuck Strangers contribute beats.) The London-born Rome Streetz, much like Boldy, has an affiliation with Griselda Records, and the two have been appearing on each other's tracks for years. Rome's nasal snarl nicely offset's Boldy's deep mutter.

Manhunt is a short project, just six songs and an intro in 18 minutes, so hopefully you'll have time to listen before the next Boldy James album. Stream it below.

Manhunt is out now on 1301 LLC/New 11 Records/Mass Appeal.
