It's Lemon Twigs season. Two years after Brian and Michael D’Addario's previous album A Dream Is All We Know — and just one after Brian's solo endeavor Till The Morning — the Long Island band have announced their upcoming sixth studio album Look For Your Mind! today with its retro lead single "I Just Can't Get Over Losing You."
Look For Your Mind! is the first Lemon Twigs album to welcome live members Reza Matin (drums) and Danny Ayala (bass) into the studio fold, with Eva Chambers of Tchotchke also contributing. "I do think that now is a time of insanity," explains Brian of the record's origins simply in a press release. "You really have to hold onto your own mind if you don’t wanna lose it."
In true Lemon Twigs fashion, "I Just Can't Get Over Losing You" is a contemporary take on classic '60s rock 'n' roll. Check out its Beatles-esque video below, along with the full Look For Your Mind! tracklist and the Lemon Twigs' upcoming tour dates.
