Riffs! I like riffs. I like it when songs have lots of riffs. I like when one riff stops and another one suddenly starts. The Oxnard, California heavy hardcore band Torena has riffs for days. They've got so many riffs that their new single burns through a few of them before anyone starts singing.
Torena released their full-length debut No Control in 2024. Now, they're getting ready to tour the West Coast with the German band Peace Of Mind, and they've hit us with a ferociously groovy new track called "Extinction." Experience the riffage below.
