LA's Sugar World are releasing new album supercassettevision later this year on Sunday Records. They've already teased the follow-up to their 2022 debut with the single "Red Heart On Fire" and "In Magazines." Yesterday, they returned with another called "Terra Incognita."
"Terra Incognita" has propulsive big beat energy. It reminds me a bit of Fatboy Slim's "The Rockafeller Skank." But there's some psychedelic shoegaze elements to it. I can't make out a damn lyric from the fuzzy mess, but it still sounds really nice. It makes me want to go rollerblading in the sunshine.
