"Blow My Mind" is an excellent Robyn song with a surprisingly long history. Robyn released the original version of "Blow My Mind" way back in 2002. It was on Don't Stop The Music, one of the Robyn albums that didn't even get an American release, before she launched her own label and reinvented herself. Just last month, Robyn dropped her very fun new album Sexistential, and she brought "Blow My Mind" back, recording a new version and changing the lyrics to make it an ode to her young son. Now, she's got another new version of "Blow My Mind," a remix with Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso.
Robyn has already brought in a bunch of heavy hitters to remix Sexistential tracks — Jamie xx, Arca, Marlon Hoffstadt. Today, she shares a "Blow My Mind" remix that she made with Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, the Argentinian alt-pop experimenters who collaborated with Jack White last year. Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso have new Spanish-language verses on the "Blow My Mind" remix, and they co-star with Robyn in an extremely cute new video. Check it out below.
Sexistential is out now on Konichiwa/Young.
