So far, Australia's Swapmeet have shared "I Know!" and "Sand" from their upcoming debut album Mount Zero. The former is straight-up banger, whereas the latter is more of an evocative reverie. Today's "2 C U" is both of those things, operating as an enrapturing anthem about infatuation.
About the song, the quartet says, "2 C U captures the excitement of wanting to see someone, the mindless things you think or do in anticipation, and how the nerves that follow cannot be controlled."
"2 C U" commences with gentle strumming and a pretty duet before it lurches into extremely infectious tumult. It comes with a music video directed by Rhys Scarabosio; watch below.
