Matty Healy Sang With A 1975 Covers Band At His Stag Party

It's been a while since Matty Healy has released any music or even played any shows with his band the 1975. Being Funny In A Foreign Language, the group's most recent album, is a few months away from it fourth birthday, and their most recent performance was their headlining set at Glastonbury, a little more than a year ago. In the right circumstances, though, Healy is absolutely down to perform with a 1975 tribute band.

We don't know when Matty Healy is planning on getting hitched to his fiancée, the model and occasional singer Gabbriette, but we do know that he recently celebrated his bachelor party at a mystery venue in Malibu. For the occasion, somebody hired the 9075, the world's premiere 1975 tribute act. The 9075's members even kind of look like the 1975 guys, which is real dedication to the bit.

Naturally, the Matty Healy's party culminated in him getting up onstage to sing and dance with his doppelganger, which shows us that the 9075's ersatz Healy is somehow even smaller than the real guy. In one video from the party, we see Healy getting up to sing "The Sound" with the 9075. In another, Healy crowdsurfs to "Sex." The other 1975 members were there, so they at least theoretically could've performed, but they were too busy partying.

Gabbriette, meanwhile, had her bachelorette party in Las Vegas a few weeks ago. It looked fancy.
