Morrissey is once again canceling shows. In March, he canceled his show in Valencia, Spain, because he was too sleepy. Now, he's canceling next week's Vegas residency.
The singer was slated to perform at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on Aug. 14, 15, 18, and 19. The first two dates were sold out, but none will be happening, due to "unforeseen logistical challenges," according to emails sent from promoter AEG. On Sept. 19, he's scheduled to play Riot Fest, with a slot just before Tool, and after that he has a whole US tour coming up, but we'll see about that.
Morrissey released his latest album, Make-Up Is A Lie, in March, and he said that diversity is a lie because BBC wouldn't play his new single. Meanwhile, a speaker at a town hall meeting in New Jersey went viral for getting arrested for singing Morrissey at the podium last month. Give him the Vegas residency instead.
