Earlier this year, Peaches returned with No Lube So Rude, her first album in over a decade, which was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. Now, the pop icon is giving her timeless 2000 hit "Fuck The Pain Away" its first remix for the new Hellraiser game.
Peaches partnered with Saber Interactive to remix the song for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. Steve Molitz, Music Director at Saber Interactive, produced and reworked the new version of "Fuck The Pain Away" while Pinhead narrates it, voiced by Doug Bradley. "I've always admired Peaches for her fiercely unapologetic, provocative approach to personal expression," Molitz says. "It was an honor to collaborate with Peaches and rework this iconic track, and we're thrilled to finally unleash this beast on the world!"
"With this rework of the track, it frames my song in a darker, more twisted world," Peaches adds. "'Fuck The Pain Away' is ever-expanding and now has new meaning in the Hellraiser universe. I'm in!"
