Sir Paul's MPL Communications has applied to trademark the Beatle's name, according to The Guardian. Apparently McCartney™ would be a Paul Newman-esque brand slapped on goods "as wide-ranging as pantihose, waistcoats and vegetarian food." We're pretty sure there is a joke in here somewhere, but first we have to look up what a waistcoat is.
