New Grouper – “False Horizon”

Grouper's Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill includes a few of this years most hauntingly beautiful tracks. Add non-album track "False Horizon" to the pile. It was recorded around the same time as Dragging, but Harris just posted it at her MySpace (via GvB) in anticipation of its appearance on a split 7" with City Center. New Yorkers should note the tour dates while they're at her site: She's appearing at the Knitting Factory tonight for WNYU's 35th Anniversary Party.
