You have to love the influences Montreal/Toronto duo Thunderheist list on their MySpace: "Isis = Redbull Vodka, Jazz, French Boys and everything Spanish! Grahm= drum machines and dirty dirty synths and asian chicks ... with bangs!" ... why not! Isis and Grahm recently performed their last show, but that didn't stop Memory Tapes from turning in a darker, more solitary, hollowed-out take on their amped-up club-packing "Drive-In." More ghosts, less Redbull, but still suitable for dancing.
Thunderheist - "Drive-In (Memory Tapes's B-Live Mix)"
The remake's part of the Bacardi B-Live campaign. There are others. One involves Amrit's favorite, Black Eyed Peas. You can investigate via Twitter.
