The APdoes! It's been years since Joseph Foreman a.k.a. Afroman captured the inhibited imagination of a stoner nation with his smash "Because I Got High," and it's been nearly as long since you fully grasped the track's inanity. Still, though, Afroman's been busy, working on new projects and giving good quote. On his big hit (pun!):
I was just having fun. It is a stew. It's like a gumbo.
Can't think of a song that's less like a gumbo ... but, bad analogy anyway. Moving on: Best part about his career?
One thing I like about being Afroman is that nobody really cares.
One thing we like about Afroman is that he says shit like that. But what's 'man up to these days?
Foreman said he's working on his first film, a spoof of 1995's Waiting to Exhale.
"I am supplying the key ingredients" for the movie, Waiting to Inhale, he told the AP.
Waiting To Inhale is also the name of his latest album.
Oh Afroman. Your stoner flick's gonna be messed up, and we know why...
