New Death Cab For Cutie Video – “Little Bribes” (Fan Video)

On the page housing his fan video for "Little Bribes," Ross Ching mentions he's unemployed. After you watch his ambitious visual treatment for the Death Cab For Cutie track you'll realize how important unemployment likely was to this meticulously produced project. But at least it was inexpensive. He says "if you don't count the camera equipment that I already had" it cost about $75, most of it spent on gas. Ching shot it in the L.A. area (and at his parents' place in San Jose) with the idea to visually represent each of the 211 different words in the The Open Door EP opener. See, for instance, your brain on "time" in the accompanying screengrab. We rarely post fan-made videos, but this is too good.

The Open Door EP is out via Atlantic.
