So Sia, she of Zero 7 and that song from Six Feet Under has set aside the condom heads and pantyhose long enough to put the finishing touches on some people have REAL problems, the Aussie siren's first studio LP in over three years (that was the one with "Breathe Me"). Like the Grizzlys, she's got friends: the aforementioned Zero 7ers, José González, Beck, etc. Not sure how many of them will do Friend style cameos, but Beck definitely will, turning up for some sort of accompaniment on album track "Academia," and maybe for more dramatic photos like this one. All that will have to wait, though -- our first listen (aside from the viral "Buttons" clip, officially a "hidden track" on the forthcoming record) is "Electric Bird." And like our first listen of Grizz's Friend ("Alligator"), there's surging brass fanfare that takes a bow 3/4 of the way through. It's nice, conventional piano pop sung with a great voice, but really we're waiting for the Atlas Sound remix.
