Soundgarden release their reunion album King Animal today, and they celebrated release date eve by appearing on the Late Show With David Letterman, stomping their way through the single "Been Away Too Long." On the show, they sounded and looked snarly and unkempt in a good way, like the forest-ape grunge band that they were originally supposed to be. Watch the performance below.
