A week ago, I was frantically writing a Lil Wayne obituary in my head, frantically refreshing TMZ on my phone while attempting to enjoy the amazing and random-as-fuck Usher/Afghan Whigs set at SXSW. But now, after being hospitalized and going into critical condition after suffering multiple seizures, Lil Wayne is not only OK; he’s out of the hospital, cackling through a videotaped thank-you to fans, and promising a forthcoming tour with T.I., which seems, I don’t know, like maybe not the best idea? Maybe get some rest? Whatever, I’m just happy to see him up and talking. Watch the video, which was recorded two days ago and which includes a T.I. cameo, below.
