The Dismemberment Plan Uncanney Valley Details
Fuck, man, good things keep happening today. Case in point: The Dismemberment Plan, the great twitchy D.C. post-punk quartet who happen to be one of my favorite bands of all time, are going to release a new album. The band broke up in 2003, and when they got back together in 2011 for a reunion tour, nobody was really expecting any further music from them. But at a Baltimore show last year, the band debuted a few new songs, and they were fucking awesome. And now those songs will find a home on the new LP Uncanney Valley, the band’s first since Change, way the hell back in 2001. The D-Plan recorded the new album in Baltimore with the excellent post-hardcore producer J. Robbins. We’ll all get to hear it this fall. Check the tracklist below.
