Courtney Love’s Autobiography Gets A Release Date
UPDATE: Love’s reps say that the Amazon listing is incorrect and that Love’s book does not yet have a title or publication date.
Morrissey isn’t the only outspoken pain-in-the-ass musical genius dropping a memoir this year. Courtney Love — still one of the most fascinating and powerful voices in rock over the last two decades or so, even if her recent attention-grabbing stunts have been hard to take — is set to publish Courtney Love: My Story 12/15 through Macmillan. According to the publisher, the book will touch upon Love’s stripper past, her drug use, and her relationships with Edward Norton and Trent Reznor and Billy Corgan and of course Kurt Cobain. It’s hard to imagine a public figure with a more fascinating life than Love, and if she’s got the right editing team in place, this should be a real page-turner. The Amazon pre-order page is here.
