Indie-punk trio Lilac Daze dish up distinctly Weezer, the Cure, and Green Day vibes. Since their December 2012 formation in Frederick, Maryland, Lilac Daze have self-released the Creatures Of Habit EP, the On Forgiving Myself EP, and several demos. Now they have signed to Black Numbers, who will release the band’s next EP, Sedated. “Knives” is the first single off Sedated. It’s fast, but never rushed, the rolling crash moving cleanly from gleeful anger to sweet indifference and back again. Listen and check out tour dates below.
