Watch Stevie Nicks Bring The Gravity On The Tonight Show
Last night, classic rock eminence Stevie Nicks, who probably has a heavier presence now than she did when she was at the height of her fame, was the musical guest on The Tonight Show. Nicks was already on the show earlier this year, recreating the video for her Tom Petty duet “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” with Fallon playing Petty. Last night, though, she was in serious mode. On the show proper, she sang the hell out of “Lady,” a song from her new archival collection 24 Karat Gold: Songs From The Vault, with only a pianist to accompany her. As online bonuses, she also sang an intense solo-piano rendition her Fleetwood Mac classic “Rhiannon,” and she told a tour story about Fleetwood Mac getting lost on the way to a show. Watch both performances and the story below.
24 Karat Gold: Songs From The Vault is out now. Nicks is on tour right now with Fleetwood Mac, and Christine McVie is back in the band.
