Did you know Idris Elba could rap? I didn’t! The ridiculously talented and handsome UK actor has shown plenty of musical ambition in the past, but I had no idea he had bars. And yet he’s now jumped on a new remix of Skepta’s UK grime banger “Shutdown.” And his verse, which leads off the track, is honestly impressive. His rapping voice is a gnarled, strained thing, and he uses it nimbly. Check it out below.
