Ghetto Ghouls – “Hezbollah”
Apparently it’s just the week of me writing about bands with terrible names. But that’s OK because I like their music. Back in May, we wrote about the Texas record label Monofonus Press’ compilation with 11 tracks all from Austin bands. One of those bands was Ghetto Ghouls, whose self-titled debut album came out last spring. “Hezbollah” is the newest song off their sophomore effort, Collisons. The song could easily be mistaken for Parquet Courts or the Black Lips with their fuzzy garage sound and talk singing. Listen below.
