Over the past year, Beat Connection delivered a pair of charming holographic rhythm bombs “Another Go Round” and “Illusion.” Now the Seattle group has signed to Anti, which, along with the addition of Doe Paoro, is becoming a far more pop-friendly label lately. “So Good,” the lead single from Product 3, is correctly titled, culling warm, romantic vibes from a kaleidoscopic loop. Beat Connection’s Reed Junger tells Interview, “We have been slowly adding and subtracting from this song for nearly two years.” The finished product gives effervescent TV commercial music a good name (literally — “So Good” will be featured in an upcoming Bose speaker commercial).
