Tom Cruise’s terrifying lip-syncing episode wasn’t the only notable music moment on last night’s Tonight Show. The night’s musical guest was Ashley Monroe, the sharp ’70s-style country singer who just released the very good album The Blade. On the show, she rocked some very impressive fake eyelashes and cranked through a full-sprint version of her honky-tonk jam “Winning Streak,” sounding absolutely badass in the process. If you have any love in your heart for the countrypolitan sounds of the early ’70s, you would do well to give this one a watch. Check it out below.
