Bankrupt 50 Cent Says His Creditors Are Violating The 13th Amendment
If 50 Cent being unfamiliar with Jay Electronica weren’t evidence enough that he won’t be responding to Jay Elect’s Periscope slam or diss track, this should be proof positive.
50 Cent still has money troubles to attend to after filing for bankruptcy this past summer, and being hit with a $2 million lawsuit. He argued in front of a judge that his creditors in his bankruptcy case are being to aggressive in their debt collection by setting his clock for repayment at 150 years. 50 says his creditors’ plans would be nothing short of “a near-indefinite period of involuntary indentured servitude” and likened it to slavery. He also says it amounts to “compulsive labor” which is unconstitutional according to the the 13th amendment. 50 owes Sleek Audio, SunTrust Bank, and Lastonia Leviston, among others, more than $30 million. Jay Elect’s silly disses pale in comparison. I still can’t believe that Vitamin Water money is gone.
