Alejandra Deheza knew that SVIIB would be the last School Of Seven Bells album due to Benjamin Curtis’ passing, and she could have easily made it a gloomy and somber affair. Instead, it’s one of the most unabashedly exuberant and hopeful records of the year so far, an accurate footnote for a band that was so often taken with dreams.
