Miguel has had resurgence in the news lately. He just went back to his LA middle school and melted a some preteen hearts with a performance of “Adorn.” Thankfully no children were leg-dropped. He’s also rebooted his single “Waves” from last year’s excellent Wildheart, recruiting Travis Scott for a remix and video. Scott’s version will appear alongside reworkings by Kacey Musgraves, Tame Impala, and RAC on the Rogue Waves EP dropping later this week.

Milking even more from his album’s biggest single, Miguel and Scott took their “Waves” remix to Ellen. Mig was all over the studio, up and down the aisles wooing the daytime TV crowd before Scott comes in and does his thing on stage. Between this performance and the rooftop outing in the clip for the remix, it seems Miguel and Scott have some good artistic chemistry. Check out the performance in its entirety below.
