The punk rock legend and lifer Bob Mould is releasing a new solo album called Patch The Sky later this month, and like his last few, it’s a ridiculously consistent collection of punchy, hooky, soaring jams. We’ve already posted the video for first single “Voices In My Head,” and now Rolling Stone has posted another one called “The End Of Things.” Lyrically, it’s a vision of the apocalypse, but it’s rendered in the same hearty bang-it-out style as so many of Mould’s recent songs, which means it’s hard to stay bummed while it’s on.
