Weaves – “One More” Video
Toronto rock outfit and Band To Watch Weaves are set to drop their self-titled debut this summer. They shared the frenzied lead single “One More” before killing their set at our unofficial SXSW party, and today that song gets the album’s first visual treatment.
Directed by guitarist Morgan Waters, the clip finds frontwoman Jasmyn Burke clutching gold pom-poms in a bright pink robe and wheat platform boots as she swaggers down a dirt road. She’s then joined by the rest of the band and they freak out to the jam, convulsing on the ground, jumping up and down, rhythmically bouncing, and shaking pom poms behind her as she delivers her lyrics deadpan. It’s simple, but it’s fun as hell. Check it out.
Weaves is out 6/17 on Kanine/Buzz/Memphis Industries. Pre-order it here.
