Spoon’s new album Hot Thoughts is the band’s ninth album, and it’s also their ninth really fucking good album, which is pretty incredible. The band co-produced the new one with psychedelic mastermind Dave Fridmann, and it’s a little lighter on guitars than past Spoon efforts. But really, it’s a Spoon album, which means it’s full of sharp and catchy and minimal and flirty jams.
