Nashville trio Daddy Issues are currently in the middle of a short stint opening for fellow Infinity Cat cool cats Diarrhea Planet — they’re playing in NYC tomorrow (7/30) and Philly on Saturday (7/1) — and they stopped by Stereogum’s New York office to perform a few tracks from their new album, Deep Dream. Lead singer and guitarist Jenna Moynihan took the reins for a stripped-down set with bassist Jenna Mitchell providing some backup vocals. They did “Dog Years,” “Locked Out” and their great cover of Don Henley’s “The Boys Of Summer,” which feels especially appropriate going into this 4th of July weekend. Check it out below.
