At the beginning of William Patrick Corgan's new video for "Aeronaut," the sweeping ballad from the Smashing Pumpkins mastermind's new Rick Rubin-produced solo album Ogilala, there's a note that says the video was "conceived, created, and captured in virtual reality." That's a weird statement, but in practice, it mostly means the new Corgan video looks more like Tron than you might expect. In the clip, a glowing-white Corgan, wearing an even more glowing-white suit, plays a neon piano in front of an ever-changing background void. David Liu and Rob Ruffler directed the video.
