Introducing Our New Members Only Playlist

When we launched our paid membership plans, we offered members-only perks like access to our Discord server, a trophy icon next to your name in the comments section, and the chance to navigate the site without ads. We also promised members-only features. The first of those is our Members Only playlist, a frequently updated tally of Stereogum's favorite new tracks. Think of it as an expanded deluxe edition of the Stereogum's Favorite Music playlist that accompanies our weekly list of The 5 Best New Songs Of The Week.

We post a lot of new songs on here, and there's a good chance even our most faithful readers miss some of them. There's so much great new music out there that we usually can't squeeze all of our favorites into the 5 Best feature. On the other hand, not every song that's newsworthy enough to post is actually good, so the Members Only playlist will filter out the chaff. Any new tracks we're passionate about will end up there. So will a handful of key tracks from our monthly genre columns. It's going to be a robust all-killer no-filler situation. In fact, it already is.

Below, you'll find first iteration of the Members Only playlist. In order to see the private embed in this post, you first have to load up the playlist on Spotify, which assigns you as a "listener." By popular demand, we've added an identical version of the playlist on Apple Music, which you can access here or below. Email us if you get an error, as Spotify links can expire. Enjoy, and look out for our new themed Playlist Of The Week feature coming soon. 👀
