Donald Trump Won’t Attend Super Bowl With Bad Bunny And Green Day Performances: “I’m Anti-Them”

In October, Donald Trump joined Republicans in whining about Bad Bunny being announced as the performer for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. "I never heard of him. I don't know who he is. I don't know why they're doing it. It's, like, crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter that they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it's absolutely ridiculous," he said. Earlier this week, Green Day were revealed as the performers for the Super Bowl Opening Ceremony, and Trump reacted today to The Post in an exclusive Oval Office interview.

Trump said he was not attending the Super Bowl because it's "just too far away. I would. I've [gotten] great hands [at] the Super Bowl. They like me," he said. About Bad Bunny and Green Day performing, he said, "I’m anti-them. I think it's a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible."

Billie Joe Armstrong has expressed opposition to Trump many times, often changing "American Idiot" lyrics live to sing that he's "not a part of the MAGA agenda." Republicans have been mad about Bad Bunny over his anti-ICE comments. Today another Minneapolis resident was shot and killed by ICE agents.
