In the fall, Dutch Interior returned with "Play The Song," their first material since their Fat Possum debut Moneyball. Now, the rising SoCal crew is back with the announcement of a new EP called It's Glass. The incredibly beautiful tearjerker "Ground Scores" is out today.
"'Ground Scores' is a love song, but it's also a song about stumbling through the end times into something good," the band explains. "It was inspired by finding something valuable and unexpected on the ground one night. I realized that this chance occurrence represented how life felt when things were going well: finite happiness left behind by someone else, only to be inevitably depleted."
