Grammys 2026: Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos Is The First Entirely Spanish Album Of The Year Winner

Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos took home the 2026 Grammy for Album Of The Year, the category's first-ever fully Spanish language winner. Harry Styles presented him with the award, which beat out Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out, Justin Bieber's Swag, Kendrick Lamar's GNX, Lady Gaga's Mayhem, Leon Thomas's Mutt, Sabrina Carpenter's Man’s Best Friend, and Tyler, The Creator's Chromakopia.

“Puerto Rico," said an emotional Bad Bunny in his mostly Spanish acceptance speech, "there’s nothing we can’t accomplish." The Latin trap star thanked God, the Recording Academy, and his mother for giving birth to him in Puerto Rico. "I want to dedicate this award to all the people that had to leave their home, land, their country, to follow their dreams,” he added in English.

Going into this year's ceremony, Bad Bunny was the first Latin artist to be nominated in three of the Big Four categories in the same year. Those other awards went to Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "Luther" for Record Of The Year, Billie Eilish's "Wildflower" for Song Of The Year, and Olivia Dean for Best New Artist.

Debí Tirar Más Fotos also won Best Música Urbana Album and, during the Premiere Ceremony, Best Global Music Performance. "ICE out," he said while accepting the former award. "We’re not savages, we’re not animals, we are not aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans."
