Frost Children & Ninajirachi – “Sisters”

A couple of young electro-pop explorers have found one another. Last year, New York sibling duo Frost Children collaborated with Danny Brown and released their third album SISTER. Meanwhile, the Australian producer Ninajirachi made it onto our list of the year's best new artists, and her album I Love My Computer was one of our favorites. Now, Frost Children and Ninajirachi have teamed up for the new single "Sisters."

It's being marketed as a new single, anyway. In all honesty, "Sisters" is more of a remix than a full-on collab. It's a new version of "Sister," the title track from the album that Frost Children released last year. The instrumental has been reworked into a slow-building electronic freakout, and now it's got a Ninajirachi verse and some new Frost Children lyrics. These complementary sounds make sense together, just as they did when Frost Children remixed Ninajirachi's "Fuck My Computer" a few months ago. Hear "Sisters" below.

The "Sisters" single is out now on True Panther/Dirty Hit.
