Bruiser Wolf Announces New Project Push & Paint: Hear “Why They Play Me?” (Feat. BabyTron)

Detroit underground rap fabulist Bruiser Wolf has been on a serious run ever since he came to prominence as part of Danny Brown's Bruiser Brigade a few years ago. Last year, Bruiser Wolf released two albums, Potluck and the Harry Fraud collab Made By Dope, and Kevin Durant anointed him as his "favorite new artist from Detroit." Now, we're getting another record from him.

Next month, Bruiser Wolf will release Push & Paint, the new album that he made in collaboration with producer Sheefy McFly. It's got guest appearances from Sada Baby, Payroll Giovanni, P-Lo, Akeem Ali, and G.T. I haven't heard a new Sada Baby song in a minute, but I'd love to hear him and Bruiser Wolf cook something up together. Lead single "Why They Play Me?" is a fun record with minimal, bass-rolling production and a verse from BabyTron, a Detroit underground rap fabulist from a different generation. Below, check out "Why They Play Me?" and the Push & Paint tracklist.
