Next month Sweden's Girl Scout are releasing their debut album Brink. They've given us glimpses with "Same Kids," "Operator," and "Keeper." Today they've shared their final single before the project comes out. "Crumbs" is a glistening power pop indictment of posers and users in the music industry. "You bleed me dry and leave me with crumbs," Emma Jansson laments on the chorus. I also love this lyric: "Every day’s a funeral/ Been to them all/ My whole life an afterthought."
”We’ve met a lot of people on the road who work with or around music on some level,” Jansson said about the track. “A lot of them don’t seem to like music, or people really. But they do like being on guest lists and paying for beers.”

Brink is out 3/20 on AWAL.
