Florida Georgia Line Reunite At CMA Fest 2026

Florida Georgia Line, arguably the definitive act of the early 2010s "bro country" era, have been on hiatus since 2022, when the Florida half of the duo, Brian Kelley, decided to go solo. In 2024, Kelley said he believed Florida Georgia Line and his solo career could coexist, but he and the Georgia half of the group, Tyler Hubbard, couldn't make it work. With FGL to focus on, Hubbard also launched a solo career during the hiatus. Now, they're back together.

The Country Music Association, which throws the annual CMA Awards, also puts on a huge festival called CMA Fest. It's taking place through Sunday at venues around Nashville, with each night culminating in an all-star performance at Nissan Stadium. CMA Fest kicked off Thursday night with acts including Ella Langley, Jason Aldean, Tucker Wetmore, Rhett Atkins, Gretchen Wilson, and Deana Carter. And amidst the festivities, Florida Georgia Line staged a surprise reunion.

As the Tennesseean tells it, Hubbard and Kelley entered from opposite sides of the stadium, introduced by famed boxing announcer Michael Buffer (the "Let's get ready to rumble!" guy). They performed their song "Round Here" while moving toward a meet-up on a platform in the center of the stadium. After simultaneously shouting "We back baby!" they broke into "Cruise," their record-setting 2012 signature hit. The duo teased their reunion earlier this week with a billboard in Nashville reading "FGL LFG."
