Finally, Victoria Monét season approaches. Next month, the ultra-talented R&B star and seasoned songwriter will release Frequency Of Love, the long-awaited follow-up to her 2023 breakout Jaguar II. We've already posted the early singles "Let Me" and "Reach Out," and at least one of them is really good. Today, Monét announces a big fall tour and shares another single.
Monét's new song "Juicy" takes a strong, intentional step into the realm of lush, funky old-school R&B, complete with a writing credit for Babyface. It's a slinky infatuation song that feels like it belongs in a lineage. It could've honestly come out at any time in the last 40 years. D'Mile, Spencer Stewart, and Michael Brun produced the track, and all three of them co-wrote it alongside Monét, Babyface, Daniel Church, and Tommy Parker.
