We already told you to buy Lindsey's excellent new album. Hopefully some of you did. In lieu of hyping his boring new video for "Show You How" (we think he made it himself in iMovie), here's some fan footage of "Save Me A Place" from last week's show at "Town Hall."

Like us, Pernice Brother dummer Patrick Berkery took issue with Bob Lefsetz's allegation that LB is "a chick act now."
Bob-
Gotta call you on labeling Lindsey Buckingham a 'chick act.' Just saw him twice in one week (NYC & AC) and he's clearly a 'cult act.'
It's a very boutique crowd he pulls these days, there to see the guy behind Tusk and those solo albums you call `hookless' (Ever heard Trouble? Countdown? Bwana? Show You How? You could land Jaws with those, my friend). He played to about 1,000 at Town Hall, about 750 on a Sunday night at the Borgata - 65 % guys, 35 % 'chicks.' Fevered Lindsey fanatics of all ages, shapes and sizes - wearing homemade shirts, clutching vinyl copies of Tusk & Buckingham/Nicks - the whole bit. They yelled out requests for 'The Ledge,' 'Save Me a Place' and 'Johnny Stew' and Lindsey seemed genuinely floored. Dude was clearly loving every minute of it - taking requests on the spot (they worked up 'Save Me...' right on the spot in New York - check it on You Tube), rolling around on the floor, and playing the shit out of those weird guitars. Most punk rock soft rock shows I've ever seen. More power to him.
