Today Anti-Records revealed that the beloved folkie's final album From a Basement on the Hill will be released October 19, nearly a year to the day after his suicide. More info can be found at MTV News and NY Times.
Madeleine Peyroux is an up-and-coming musician who sounds like Billie Holiday. A few years ago she was a street musician in Paris. Peyroux's sophomore disc Careless Love comes out this September on Rounder Records and includes covers of Dylan, Leonard Cohen ... and Elliott Smith. Enjoy:
