The rough-hewn, forcefully emotive Baton Rouge rapper Kevin Gates has made my favorite mixtape of 2013 thus far in The Luca Brasi Story, and we posted the video for his Curren$y collab “Just Ride.” Now Gates has another video, for the head-blown Luca Brasi track “Neon Lights,” in which he snarls into the darkness and spends quality time with a lady with glowing lips. Déjá Star directs, and the video has enough strobe-light editing that an epilepsy warning might’ve been in order. Watch it below.
