The Love Language, Stuart McLamb’s North Carolina indie-pop project, will release a new album called Ruby Red next month, and we’ve already posted the early track “Calm Down.” “Pilot Light,” the next song they’ve shared from the album, is an absolutely full-to-bursting piece of studio craft. It comes overloaded with strings, horns, and mobs of backing vocalists; I have to wonder how crowded the studio got on they day they recorded it. Listen to it below.
