Seattle-based Eric Elbogen, aka Say Hi, is releasing his latest album Oohs Aahs at the beginning of March. It's his first for Barsuk. One of Oohs highlights is the upbeat, thematically similar "Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh." Even though we feared he might be out of breath after that sort of excitement, we caught up with Elbogen and asked him a couple questions about the song. Turns out he wrote the song about a "recurring dream saga" that featured a girl who "bore a striking resemblance to Mary Louise Parker, but with a little more of the personality of her West Wing character than Nancy Botwin." Find out more about their walk between Seattle and the East Village, which includes Built To Spill's "Randy Described Eternity" and a secret message, here. Oohs & Aahs is out 3/3 via Barsuk. He's taking it on the road.
This week's drop also offerd a chance to win a Diana+ camera and accompanying start kit.
