Psychedelic Raleigh quintet Birds Of Avalon release their expansive sophomore album Uncanny Valley 6/23 (7/21 on vinyl) via Volcom. In this week's Drop we spoke with guitarist Cheetie Kumar and bassist David Mueller about the hazy, disorienting standout "Your Downtime Is Up" and found out, among other things, that the doppleganger narrative involves "a playful scenario gone horribly awry." Learn more about the band's thoughts on sound and words while you take a listen.
We also offered a chance to win a set of 12 "From The Capitol Vaults" 180-gram vinyl Radiohead EPs.
One winner takes home a dozen Radiohead vinyl singles, just released on 180-gram vinyl for the first time as part of the "From The Capitol Vaults" series. That's right, 12 12"s! Each features carefully replicated artwork at the original 5? CD single size printed as a sticker on the record jacket.
This is what you'll get: "2 + 2 = 5," "Creep," "Fake Plastic Trees," "High & Dry," "Just," "Karma Police," "My Iron Lung," "No Surprises," "Paranoid Android," "Pyramid Song," "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" and the rare Drill EP.(If you wanna research the b-sides, check here.) They look like this:

Enter to win them all. There are also a few days left to nab an 8GB iPod Touch plus seven rock t-shirts, all courtesy of Wolfgang's Vault.
CONTEST ENDS 06/03/09 AT 12PM EST.
