Spirit Club – “Duster” Video
Spirit Club is the new side-project trio led by Wavves frontman Nathan Williams, and they only just announced the impending release of their self-titled debut. Their second video, after “Still Life,” is for “Duster,” a relatively soft, poppy song without that much punk in it. The video, on the other hand, has a lot of punk in it. It tells the story of a boogie boarder who dies, and it stars the band and their friends as the guys who skateboard in his funeral procession. The whole clip is sort of a fantasy of a burnout funeral, with assorted dirtbags pouring beer and leaving bags of chips at the grave site, then holding a Ouija Board session right after. Jack Wagner directs. Below, watch the video and check out the album’s tracklist.
