Yeah I’m thinking I’ll throw that in when something notable got boxed out. Won’t write an essay or anything but it kinda helps me situate a song historically.

This was a good read, but this song is hokey and boring, with some hacky musical-theater style writing in it. “That Billie Joe never had a lick of sense…pass the biscuits please!”

The line up this year kinda sucks actually. Way too many mainstream bands. Only one worth seeing is Shellac. Another festival that used to be rad going down the drain like FYF. Sad.

Come on! There’s no way that track is a 10. I have my suspicions (when the stars are in position) that Tom may’ve been drinking while writing one or two of these Number Ones. Music and alcohol is a great mix, and it may’ve influenced his scoring.
